Don't want to go :(

Only a few days till I have to go home :(

Hopefully Rachel will get to visit me in august assuming she can get some time off work and her visa goes through ok.

Looking for more work myself hopefully I will get some soon (negotiating some at the moment).

We've two new kittens at home (both boys, grey tabbies) not sure how our 2 cats are going to react to them, we've no names yet but george seems like a probably name for one and Rachel wants one called Arthur.

I've come up with a few mac essential programs (well essential to me)

Firstly Adium it's a wonderful chat program combining all the major programs into one.

Growl Works with adium and many other programs to provide useful notifications i.e. of new messages when someone comes online etc.

Cyberduck a wonderful sftp program you can drag and drop from finder into the program and it allows you to bookmark connections so you don't have to type in the info each time it also allows for a different ssh key per bookmark.

Last note I handed my 3rd test in for my latest degree course yesterday, one more to do then the final exam!

That's all for now.

Films XD

Been a bit since I last made an entry, nothing new there :P

Lets see what's happened in the few days since I last updated.

Well I've been asked to do another site "Farms in Romania".

Rachel's birthday was the 1st of july, we went to play disc golf in the morning I think I'm doing better but I managed to sprain my ankle while playing >.<

Everyone's getting ready for independance day tomorrow = fireworks + people + food :P should be fun/interesting.

Been to see "Don't mess with the Zohan" with adam sandler and "Wall-E" at the cinema. Both pretty good, whoever wrote wall-e has a thing for Arthur C Clarke's 2001 *thinks the writer is of a certain age*.

I'm getting used to this mac thing it's a nice peice of kit, the OS actually does what you expect :P right now I'm on windows though (got a new cd key for my vista premium copy), since I have to do some degree work and the open university don't support macs so I'm installing the software on the pc side then will copy it to the mac later once I've spotted which files I need to copy. I'm hoping for another 90%+ in the next test, it would really make my year if I can get 90%+ on all of them, just 2 more tests to go.

I need to decide what course I'm taking next soon, and have to choose wisely if I'm going to spend some time in new zealand.

Ah well my softwares finished installing so I'd better go and do some work.

Till next time :)
